The art of crafting is more beneficial for you than you might think. It can have a great influence on your body & mind and offers an activity to escape our digital world for a few hours. It is a natural way of preventing mental health problems and improving your wellbeing. Especially if you are under a lot of stress or pressure because of work, studying or just life in general, doing a craft can help you relax. Craft workshops give you the perfect opportunity to meet new people. You will also feel like you have accomplished something – just think about all the great beanies you can knit yourself! It will make you feel happy and very confident that you managed to craft something by yourself. While you are engaged in your craft activity, you have time to get some headspace. You can focus on mindfulness in reflecting about emotions or problems you might face. It will be very uplifting (especially in cloudy January) to work with loads of different colours! The art of crafting is a great way to build up your self-esteem. It is time for you to start making and improve your mindfulness!
