Elasticated straps
This is a simple hack to add you to your you made or shop bought dungarees.

Whether you have clip or tie straps on your dungarees sometimes you just need a quick exit.

For this hack you need dungarees, elastic the same width as your dungaree straps, a sewing machine, pins and scissors.

Cut your dungaree straps about 5cm from where they are sewn in to the back of your dungarees, cut two pieces of elastic 15cm long.

Pin the elastic to the strap, where you cut, with a 1.5cm over lap, repeat so the elastic is pinned at both ends. Sew in with a straight stitch, go forward and back a few times. With a large zig zag stitch, sew over the raw edges of the strap and elastic.
Trim off any bits of thread.

If you are making your dungarees, add the elastic to the end of the straps and sew in following your instructions.
