Crochet a rainbow

We made a whole load of these rainbows to post to friends and family. We have gone with the traditional rainbow colours, but use what you have in your stash. It is created as a circle and folded in half and sewn up to create a rainbow!

In purple FOUNDATION LOOP: CH4, SS
into 1st chain to form loop

In purple ROUND 1: CH3, TR 11 into the central loop,
SS join into the 3rd CH (12 Sts) fasten off.

In pink ROUND 2: SS into any st CH3, TR into same St, *2TR into
each St* 11 times, SS join into 3rd CH (24
STs) fasten off.

In blue ROUND 3: SS into any st CH3, 2TR into same St, *TR into next St, 2TR into next St* 11 times, SS join into 3rd CH, Fasten Off (36 Sts)

In green ROUND 4: SS into any st CH3, 2TR into same St, *TR into next 2 St, 2TR into next St* 11 times, SS join into 3rd CH, Fasten Off (48 Sts)

In yellow ROUND 5: SS into any st CH3, 2TR into same St, *TR into next 3 St, 2TR into next St* 11 times, SS join into 3rd CH, Fasten Off (60 Sts)

In orange ROUND 6: SS into any st CH3, 2TR into same St, *TR into next 4 St, 2TR into next St* 11 times, SS join into 3rd CH, Fasten Off (72 Sts)

In red ROUND 7: SS into any st CH3, 2TR into same St, *TR into next 5 St, 2TR into next St* 11 times, SS join into 3rd CH, Fasten Off (84 Sts)

Weave in all ends. Fold in half and sew or crochet up.
