Using your measurements and a few calculations you can create this beautiful dress, in any size. It has a gathered bodice, tie straps and pockets!

This dress is one piece of fabric, or two sewn together. The bodice is created by sewing rows of casing, which you will thread elastic through to create a shirred style bodice, with the pockets and straps sewn on.

You will need:

Tape Measure and Ruler

2 - 3m of a cotton or cotton mix fabric. 

I love using a duvet cover.

1cm wide elastic

A safety pin

Sewing Machine

Scissors.

Water soluble pen or chalk

Iron and ironing board
